A few months earlier, Microsoft released Flight Simulator Microsoft Flight, with enough ambition and a group of 35 persons to be employed for the production and continuous updating of the game with new maps. Eventually, the dream did not last long and today the company announced that the studio is closed and cancel any future project that was about it. At the same time, was canceled and the Project Columbia, an unreleased game that would be based on sensor Kinect for Xbox 360.
