The new MacBook Air and Thunderbolt Display does not play


Ideal device does not exist - and for this, including products and Apple. New gadgets and computer companies almost always have some minor problems - whether it is software or that it is much less "iron." The new MacBook Air is no exception: it attempts to make friends with the display Thunderbolt Display sometimes lead to not very pleasant results. And the problem is not in the picture and sound.

The symptoms are as follows. When connected to a display MacBook Air Apple, the latter produces a distorted sound from the laptop. The concept of "distortion" includes the static noise, intermittency and unpleasant sound clicks coming from the speakers 27-inch display. The problem manifests itself in a few hours after connecting the laptop to the display. Diagonal "air" does not matter: the owners and 11-inch and 13-inch versions are equally often complain about the sound.

This bug does not affect the sound of the laptop built-in speakers. "Plaintive" branch on Apple website slowly approaching 10 pages. Panelists learned to solve problems with the sound of an old grandfather's way: reconnect the cable Thunderbolt, sometimes repeated, sometimes with a reboot of both devices. Apple representatives said they are aware of the problem, but did not report the timing of the release of "patch" - if any will be. Not the best example of the vaunted ecosystem.
