Qualcomm is working on a TV dongle from mobile devices to stream in 4K

Transmit video in 4K from smartphones and a tablet wirelessly to a TV at the moment seems almost utopian. Despite the fact that more and more mobile devices record video in this ultra-high resolution, wired solutions are gearing up only recently and the wireless does not seem appropriate at the time. Fortunately that is Qualcomm!

The well-known chip maker is developing a dongle to connect to your TV that allows you to stream in 4K from mobile devices. The accessory is obviously based on a Qualcomm chip but does not require a similar SoC smartphone or tablet and initially only allow the sending of local content. In the future, however, the dongle could also add support for online video from popular sites in addition to mirroring the complete device.

Excellent premises in short but grant us a little doubt on the subject, since the solutions presented so far have not lived up to expectations. If and when you can try the dongle Qualcomm, do not doubt it.
