Casio has introduced four models of Android tablet intended for a different audience than the shopping centers, given the particular qualities of strength that distinguish them. We welcome therefore the Paper Writer-N500-WJ V, V-N500-J, V and V-T500-T500-WJ-J.
The houses of all the tablets as it features rubber hand grips, which certify the tablet to drop up to one meter in height , and makes it resistant to moisture, dust and water.
The diagonal of the display is 10 inches, with panels of 1280 x 800 pixels, while inside there is a TI OMAP 4 CPU at 1.5 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD and SD standards, and a camera with 5 megapixels.
As regards the part relating to connectivity, we have the canonical forms Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (version 4.0) and also the LTE radio, while between the doors there is a miniUSB , a USB 2.0 output and mini HDMI . Distinguishing features: the chip NFC and also a type of RFID.
Models Paper Writer V-T500-T500-WJ-J and V are also equipped with a stylus on the wave of the Galaxy Notes (10.1) and it is also possible, thanks to a software OCR , to be digitized text and notes.
The tablet will go on sale in September in Japan at a price still unknown, it is unknown as well as their eventual migration to the outside of the Rising Sun.
