Nikon Working on a Camera with Google Android Play

The world of photography might soon suffer a new jolt, thanks to the introduction of new cameras with Android operating system and all thanks to Nikon. Is not the first in this field (Polariod had already presented something), but could be the first to realize something palatable for each type of user.

The company seems to be working to complete its Coolpix S800 to be presented Aug.22. Should be equipped with 25-250mm lens, taking pictures at 16 mega pixels, have a 3.5 inch touch screen and be equipped with GPS and Wi-Fi. This latter feature in particular would return very useful with the system's integration with Google Android and Play.

Android should be at version 2.3, but we can already expect a completely redesigned and simplified. The presence of Google Play may also be a major thrust for Nikon, which would enable users to expand the functions of the camera simply by installing new applications (perhaps developed by third parties). We would therefore have a camera with endless possibilities of evolution. One bedroom Instagram, for example?
