Google has released an update to its Google Drive app for iOS. The update editing is possible.
Version 1.1.0 of Google Drive for iOS enables Google edit documents stored on the Google cloud service Google Drive.
Can also work now (almost) real time, and documents wirelessly in real-time synchronized with each other.
With version 1.1.0, you can further also create folders and you can now also create a document directly from the mobile app. The text editor is equipped with standard features such as font, bold, italic, bullets, underlining and share documents with other users.
Google also has pinch-to-zoom navigation provided in the details for diving and all languages are supported, including right-to-left languages.
The last feature you can also insert pictures and videos from your camera. Google Drive 1.1.0 is availablefor free in the Apple App Store.
This update of the iPhone and iPad version of Google Drive is partly caught up on the Android app, where it was possible to edit documents. But that Android version got an update. Thus you can now comment on documents, and respond to existing comments. Furthermore, you can now also view tables in the Android edition of Google Drive.
