Motorola has released the kernel
source of its new smartphones presented in September, which are the Moto X
(2014) and Moto G (2014). They simplify the work of the developers of ROM which
now will have to make less effort to develop custom firmware for these devices.
The kernel, for the inexperienced,
is based on the Linux and Android allows you to work together with the hardware
of the smartphone or tablet; probably then Motorola will release the update
when Lollipop to their own devices (the current version is Android 4.4.4), but
in the meantime here's the download link.
