Ubi, the computer wall with Jelly Bean

Ubi as Ubiquitous or pervasive: This is the name of an ambitious new project landed on Kickstarter in search of funds (other practically already achieved), which consists of a small box to keep attached to a power outlet, ready to listen to our voice commands .

With sensors embedded in its small body, Ubi is able to detect various aspects of the world around him, and therefore lends itself to different uses: it can be a simple baby monitors, or notify us if someone turns on a light in our house , can assume the guise of an ordinary alarm clock or even control the climate of our home (through specific thermostats), while thanks to the LED light installed on the back of the device is able to notify certain events or reminders and pulsate at different frequencies depending on what is happening.

As mentioned, however, could not miss the most human-like interaction: Ubi is able to answer questions like “How many teaspoons are in one ounce?Which could mark the difference between a successful and a recipe dish inedible.

Somewhere between home automation and voice-prompted, Ubi promises versatility to sell, as evidenced in part the short video presentation below, followed by the specific device.
