It seems that Samsung is willing to change the way they manage the folders,the proprietary interface found on most of the Android smartphone through a number of patents filed in late 2011.
As you can see in the picture above, the folder is shown as a deck of cards, which then unfolds touching it and dragging it down, it certainly is not the only image of the patent, which also shows an animation opening of a stack of icons:
Of course, a patent does not imply a real implementation, but maybe in future we might see these changes on some Samsung smartphone, it is clear that it is nothing revolutionary, but deep in the Android world alternative is always welcome.
