Messages on Skype Bug solved: update available

Microsoft has just announced the release of a new update for Skype dedicated to fixing a bug popped up a few days ago.

The bug in question, indicated by a small number of users of the Skype VoIP service, had taken unauthorized sending instant messages to contacts that were not selected. This is a malfunction, which for obvious reasons, is potentially detrimental to the privacy of users and detrimental to the security of communications through chat.

Therefore it is nececcario download and installs the update immediately; you should still take place automatically when you launch Skype. There are four versions of the program affected by this issue: Skype 5.10 for Windows, Skype 5.8 for Mac, Skype 4.0 for Linux and Skype 1.2 for Windows Phone.

The mobile versions for devices based on Android and iPhone OS operating systems were not affected by the bug, unlike Windows Phone.

The bug, though fairly limited, had raised protests and harsh criticism by the people of the Network, as it was a really embarrassing problem.
