That Flash had walked on a dead end with Android we knew for some time now and the signals coming from Adobe make it clear that the company was not kidding: Jelly Bean will not receive official support to the most controversial player in history, either now or ever.
This does not mean that you can install Android 4.1, but in the event of problems will not have anyone to complain. Since then that Chrome has never been compatible with Flash from the beginning, and that is out of beta just in time for the arrival of Jelly Bean, the news hardly arouses too many surprises.
To make matters worse though, came a postscript: since mid-August next Flash Player will no longer be downloaded from the Play Store, which means that if you want to install a new device you have to go to obtain it through the maze of Adobe.com.
