The umbrella of Vodafone, which improves the signal and the phone charge

Booster Brolly , this is the name of the color (red of course) umbrella that Vodafone will present on June 22 at the Isle of Wight Festival: perhaps seem a little accessory space, but go tell that to rainy England, where you can not never leave home without it!
To mix business with pleasure, the operator has in place a red umbrella, thanks to a pair of high gain antennas placed on top of it, amplifies the signal of any phone within a meter.
Along the walls of the umbrella are also well placed 12 solar cells that promise to charge your smartphone in about 3 hours via the USB port inserted into the handle.
Certainly the accessory is original and very practical, so that makes us hope for more rain here too, just one doubt, however, surrounds us: As the umbrella is used, presumably, in the pouring rain, how about the poor solar cells? Or maybe Vodafone intends to make an accessory for everyday, useful also for shelter from the summer heat?
