Apple testing at the time a new beta version of iOS 6 wherein the SMS vulnerability is resolved, Apple could solve the problem by no longer reply to address in SMS messages and use only the number of the original sender to show. In the current version of iOS can someone an SMS message, which looks like an otherwise sent it.
The phone number of the sender in the Messages app, the iPhone is in fact taken from the 'User Data Header ". Is there a reply to address is entered, it will be in place of the original sender is shown. Providers would often not verify the reply to number incorrect, so you can easily get abuse from them. For example, an SMS message disguised as a message from your bank for example, making phishing a lot easier.
The fix is included in iOS 5 beta 6, but this new test version should only be used internally at Apple. Previously wrote still based on an anonymous source that there are no plans to fifth public beta version of iOS 6-based.
When the SMS problem was first discovered Apple responded quite separately. It was recommended to henceforth iMessage instead of regular text messages to use. With iMessage you only with other iOS devices to exchange messages.
Could someone using sms tracker software still bypass this security measures or not? Take a look here to get the idea
