Most smartphone users do not exceed 2GB of data

This is the result of the latest survey research firm NPD data flow through the use of Android smartphone owners.

By placing an application to track data usage on the phone of 1000 volunteers, NPD found that most users use less than 2GB of data per month, including those who unlimited use package quantity. In particular, most users consume data primarily on the transmission of audio and video.

The survey also pointed out the differences between the networks, with 11% of young customers of T-Mobile used over 3GB of data per month, while the figure was 4% for AT & T and Sprint and only at 3% for Verizon.

The cause of the data used often below the 2GB is because users often access the internet at the Wi-Fi coverage areas.
