It will happen to you to connect
to any public network in which then you could not navigate: weak or absent, approval
request or other problems; maybe start a little 'came and you left alone, only
to discover hours later that you were offline. Well, Lollipop Android 5.0 also
caters to these problems by automatically switching from Wi-Fi to mobile
network, if available, in case the first does not provide a useful connection.
It had not been noticed this
detail in the test Android 5.0 being always remained on Wi-Fi reliable, but it
appears that not only the system works, but also alerts the user in the status
bar next to wireless icon or even the mobile network, if it were the latter to
have problems.
Samsung has implemented a similar
feature for some time in its interface. Maybe it's just a coincidence or maybe
it's another symptom of the renewed partnership between the two companies.
Android Lollipop
blocks requests sync all apps if there is an active data connection, preventing
them from consuming unnecessary power with attempts that do not lead to
nothing. The battery thanks you, and the user is notified in the status bar:
what more do you want?
