At this moment there are three quad-core smartphones. The Samsung S3 Galaxy, the HTC One X and recently officially presented LG Optimus 4X HD. The first two smartphones are now quite a while in the stores, which will last on 2 July in the shelves to find. Time to look which of the two available devices are most popular among the population.
Using the familiar Google Insights, it has examined the search behavior of users. It has this based on the past 30 days. The graph above clearly shows that the Samsung Galaxy S3 at this moment is more popular than the HTC X One. The difference increases dramatically after 27 May 2012 and then remains approximately equal to yesterday. These figures of course say nothing about the number of times a device actually goes over the counter, but only demonstrate that there is more interest for the Samsung Galaxy S3.
This same research shows that the new flagship of Samsung now also taken over the baton from his predecessor, the Samsung S2 Galaxy. This is also the most popular smartphone device to date. It is curious if the sales in the third quarter will soon show the same differences, but we still have several months to wait!
